BBC starts file sharing
December 21st 2006 01:23
High definition episodes from different programs that air on the BBC will be made available to download via bittorrent clients. This is a significant step in promoting P2P as a safe and legal form of information sharing.
Until now all BBC shows that have been on file sharing networks have been illegal.
It won’t be like regular bittorrent downloads, only one website (Zudeo) will have the shows available and you will need a special bit torrent client to download the movies. You can download the client for free on Zudeo’s homepage.
As online content delivery particularly in TV and movies becomes more and more viable it is being made apparent that studios have to find efficient and cheap ways to deliver content.
No pricing information for the BBC content on Zudeo has been released.

Is there something wrong with orble's servers or something that you know of? I can't get access to my blogs or the writers forum for several hours now. It just says 'cannot find server'. This also happened with some other orble blogs but not all (obviously I can see yours to write you this message).

Seems to be a serverside problem, my best suggestion is you email jon (jon@orble.com).
