Real Life Mech

A mech is basically a vehicle on legs. Impossible to create? Well thus far, yes, very impossible.

More of a science fiction concept that is best known and recognized in sci-fi movies such as Star Wars (i.e. the ATST), or in videogames such as ‘Mech Warrior’ among many others.

Their uses would be many and varied if they ever came into existence, despite the fact thus far everyone wants one to see how they will blow each other up, or at least that’s the preference of most people who watch movies and/or play games featuring mechs.


What about search and rescue? Construction? Outer space exploration? I guess war with mechs is what everyone wants to see thus far… Oh well…

The closest thing you’ll probably see to a mech in existence right now was made in Japan (not surprising really), and as you can probably see, doesn’t actually walk on two legs so much as it slides. But hey, it has a ping-pong cannon, which ought to be fun.
