Oh, I couldn't bear to watch the videos, but I couldn't help but give a vote!

I don't eat meat, wear fur, or leather. I don't even like riding in my mother's car because it has leather seats!

Because most of us were raised to believe that animals were put here for our disposal. I have more respect for animals than I do for a good majority of people, actually. *GRINS*

I'm glad to see a post like this. I'm currently working on a website that has an entire section devoted to animal welfare and well being. There's just no excuse for the abuse. Thanks for calling attention to it.

Passionate Apathy

Well, I don;t wear fur myself- but I live in Florida; I don;t think we got below freezing five times this year. I certainly wouldn;t begrudge the folk who live in the Dakotas their fur coats and gloves in Winter.

As far as meat goes; my teeth indicate I was evolved to be omnivorous. As far as eating meat goes, I agree withthe bumper sticker: "If you like legislation or sausage you don't want to watch either one being made."

I'd rather be able to watch them being 'made', humanely of course. Honestly I can't watch those animals being skinned alive or those cows being killed like that...
