Exit Strategy in Iraq

February 2nd 2007 13:38
I have to hand it to George Bush, he might have mildly screwed up in Iraq but he really, really knows how to make things turn out for the best. Damn, was I wrong about him, heres a feller who really knows how to solve mistakes he might have made, heck, not even made, he just knows how to make things turn out for the best.

Conservative or not, you gotta love the way this guy thinks…

The whirly bird Hueys may come in handy but the Black Hawk Apaches seem to be getting shot out of the sky on a regular basis......

I don't think the bad guys will be shooting out the helicopters that are going to take away their enemies.

i should have emphasised the tongue in cheek nature of my earlier comments- ofcourse copters will eventually be used but just like in Nam the GI's were taking the long way home for sometime before that happened.....that'll teach em to try and be funny on a saturday morning

Well I went to bed 3am, but I wasn't doing much, just reading stuff from reddit.com and digg.com really. Looking for a part time job too... sorta.

Oh, if you get any calls asking you to switch to AGL for gas and electricity it just might be me (pending I get the job ).

Honestly I'm not so sure I want it, but if I get it then it's all good.

Bet you have a wider variety of places to find work from, being the highpowered Film & TV on DVD blogger you are The only real qualifications I have to my name are half baked 'well I did suchand such course in uni', which is to say not a whole lot given I only have done one years worth of it thusfar.

Get a war to start between Iran and Iraq the walk away.
That would like repeating history.

It's hard to be critical of Bush's Iraq strategy, since that would imply that he has one.

And now the escalation troop surge is supposed to at least pacify Baghdad... until the rest of the country remembers they can still stand outside and fire rockets and mortars into the city.

There's a reason why "stubborn" and "stupid" are both found on the STU page of the dictionary.

Ahmed,

The US troops are gonna get screwed even after they get out of Iraq. They will probably be redeployed to some other war torn nation, as the US is trying to save the world!
