Face Manipulation

This new ‘technology’ runs purely on software so you won’t need any fancy pansy hardware to get it working other than a computer that can handle it.

Simply put it creates a face in 3D from a photograph and a reference model.



That is pretty damn cool. I wonder how well it would work with paintings, maybe some day we could see Mona Lisa starring in her own movie.

That's pretty cool stuff. I did something a bit like that at university, only we did it for city skylines (ie - a set of cuboids) which I think would be a lot easier?

I remember having a lot of difficulty trying to get the function to work with a triangular building (like in San Francisco) so I imagine for a face this would be VERY difficult...
