The Vii - China's Answer to the Wii

October 14th 2007 03:58
The China Vii is just the latest in copycat technology coming from China. It's a blessing and a curse for China, it's also a good reason why Nintendo and friends don't seem to be as prominant there than they could be. Pity too, considering it's a big as market buying into second rate rip offs.

At least its controller looks alright:

What about it's games? Well you'd be pleased to know it comes with an assortment of great titles that can be enjoyed by the whole family,

Someone needs a nice swift kick, to think we have developed all this advanced technology over a period of a great many years, only to go back to the bloody past.

I think the only real application for this would be in self-defense or some April fools prank.

Run Hamster, Run, I Type Fast!

Hamster Running on Wheel
Run you little bugger!
The USB hamster wheel is a simple plug and play utility that records your WPM, or more like, indicates your WPM by having a toy hamster do its run on a wheel, the higher your WPM the faster hamster runs.

At this point you’ll probably be looking for a name for hamster, I suggest something cute and obvious like Hamtypo.

You can go order one online, if you are so inclined.

Zune and Monsters

You wonder why they make commercials like this, but they do. Nothing to do with the product, nothing to do with anything, nothing to do with the very fabric of the space time continuum. But they make them, and they expect it to sell whatever.
