GBA Tech Demo(')s

May 2nd 2007 23:21
Imagine a fully realized Metal Gear Solid re-release on the Gameboy Advance. Pity actual games never look as good as the tech demos (for the console in question), even if they're not pre-rendered.

For those of you still in doubt the GBA could pull off real-time 3D, I direct you here.

Don't even know if I really want to know the answer, but what on earth is a "Metal Gear Solid"???

Metal Gear Solid is a tactical espionage game, tell you the truth I really dislike that game (crappy game play and all) but everyone else loves it.

I confess the newest one has caught my attention a bit...

And you never can tell these days. You should see all the technical terms etc I've been introduced to while doing this uni course - it's a course in library and information systems management which is half the trouble.

I just can't keep up with it all, which is why I'm being naughty and stalking you at the moment rather than doing the assessments I got onto the computer for.

Not a bad idea, but hubby's on a diet and if he comes home to us eating pizza he won't be happy.

Why don't you come on over and cook something healthy for all of us instead! ; )

Last time I cooked something the firemen came over for dinner...

Tell him to bring home the pizza, you'll save money on the delivery aspect

He'll also think I'm trying to sabotage him - he actually has ammunition for that as I lost a lot of weight recently and he'll treat it like a competition if you know what I mean.

Mind you, pizza sounds really good to me right now.......

I wonder if baked beans and cheese on toast will work instead.......

A man must eat well, otherwise whats the point of being alive? Sheesh.

It isn't what you eat or what you don't that makes you fat, it's what you do and what you don't. Why starve yourself of good food? Eat all you can and excercise it off.

Metal Gear SOlid isn't going to the Gameboy, gameboy has long since been discontinued (sorry)

Umm, yeah RE4 is a pretty big game, I think it was listed in the top 10 of the best games of all time, it looks and plays amazingly.

Do you mean Mario Kart? Never heard of kart rider...

ahhhh! let me learn you some....

i only know this because i am in south korea and this is the gracelands of online gaming. kartrider is an online game that is a joint effort by nintendo and nexon. it is basically mario kart, but the online version of it. it made me ask why nintendo hadn't really been pursuing the same market as xbox or playstation, but now i know why.

1 in 4 koreans have a kartrider account and pay per play on this game. kind of like world of warcraft networking, but not as geeky. it is like the new networked mario kart, with much harder graphics!

you lucky buggers, and people say nintendo doesn't go online, looks like they already do.

While were here only just getting into it with Mario Kart DS you guys have already got it... and you're suckered into paying to play it, 1 in 4? Good god, thats a lot of people paying.
