I like cars very much, Ahmed, but you need to stop blogging with videos because unfortunately I cannot view them !

I'm sure this was a great contribution to the world, however, and look forward to the day I can view these videos at a decent speed. I have dial-up.
Let me know when you want a few drinks at the Eagle.

What days are you at uni and which degree are you working toward ?

oh you're going to Latrobe too? Heh, yikes, small world :8

Umm, yeah the video is basically a tractor with a GTI engine, it sounds like a... sports car, but is just a tractor (moves real fast).

What days? Well umm, depends really, if I'm in the mood I'm there from tuesday through Friday, otherwise I'm a lazy git and am not there at all. I'm getting a computer science in games tech degree. Yourself?

Sorry to hear you're still on dial up, god speed.

Oh sweet. I'll have to look at this video later.. I do need to hurry. I think I'm getting Optus Broadband in like a month or something.

Cool degree. By the way, I know you're 18 or 19 ? Whichever, so you're my age. But are you in 2nd year uni or first ? I have my suspicions you may be in first year. Your work load seems a little intense for second year...

Let me know. We'll go to the Agora for coffee, then. Unless you decide to drink, then we'll make plans accordingly

I'm half half, doing two second year subjects and two first. The reason I might seem like I'm realy full on i sbecause I have kind of realized my two second year subjects have text books well over twice as long as last year, it's scary given I only scraped by 2006.

so what are you studying at latrobe? (second or first or third year?)

Heh, yeah, Agora sounds good, don't think I'm a social retard but I haven't drunk coffee ever, my mum thinks theres something wrong with me.

But yeah, I'll get back to you

Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot to answer that question earlier.

I'm a second year ABMS student: that's Media Studies.

That's cool, I don't drink coffee either. How the hell can you be doing half-half ? Did you pass all of your subjects in first year ? I.. and exactly how old are you ? I thought you were in High School last year... Cause I did my VCE grad in 2005.

Nope, I'm 2005 VCE too. I'm 19, have been since feb 27th (first day of uni :8).

um, it isn't half-half, but basically I failed one subject first semester which was a pre-requisite for another bunch of subjects second, so I ended up doing a second year subject and that subject again second semester and now this year I'm doing the two first year subjects I didn't do first year.

It's a pretty whacked out situation but thats sort of the jist of it (I think).

Oh wicked cool. Yeah, I failed a subject too, but I'm starting to hate my course. The subject I failed was a prerequisite for a subject this semester, so I'm one lighter this time around ( it's a shit one anyway ). I'm leaving La Trobe at the end of this semester, hopefully for Advertising at RMIT next year. I'll get about 9 months of freedom til I study again.

I think I'm going to look for unpaid work experience in Advertising, because RMIT recognises workforce experience and grants it as credit toward the course, so hopefully, I'll just do second year and at RMIT and move on from there.

So that's my life up until this moment... Hope to see you soon, bud !!

By the by, where did you do VCE v2.05 ? I was at KHS ( Kew High ) Were you the HS dux ? You were, you bastard !! Were you?

Comment by Ahmed

March 11th 2007 11:07
HS Dux? Nope, I was at Macleod... it was a good high school but my year level got the lowest score in the history of the schools VCE, and SECOND FROM BOTTOM in Victoria (ouch).

Damn, if that highschool proves anything it's that forcing a uniform onto students doesn't improve marks.

Man, I thought Macleod was a good school. KHS pulled some awesome marks and a few of our year level got scholarships and one girl got a scholarship at YALE !! What the hell is that ? How weird ...

I suppose that proves that if you take drugs from year 7 onwards, you become more relaxed in exams or something ? I dunno, it's a messed up school with a lot of wogs...

Macleod was a top scoring school, the teachers were also great.

But our year level was just crap, heck, I was in it, that should have been enough, but there were a couple of people like me, so it got dragged down to hell.

I dunno about taking drugs in year 7

Umm, well I am a fan of Japanese RPG's...

Haven't played much of Final Fantasy 7 but I guess you can consider me a final fantasy fan.

If you haven't played Chrono Trigger though, you really are missing out

No i hate MSN with a passion. My last girlfriend I was talking to on MSN for months until we transferred it to phone and then to real life and after two years it ended up a bit weird. All other experiences have been extremely negative, so I'm trying to live in the real world for as long as possible.

I'm 11 - 1 on tuesdays. That's just one class straight through, so I have time to kill for drinks (especially alcoholic ones ).

Where do I get Chrono Tiger ? And are you serious ? is that a sarcastic tongue ? If it's better than FF I have to play it. PC or PS2 ? Let me know and why won't you buy a PS3 ? It's much better !! I spoke to some gaming experts ( Guys from the JB Hifi Gaming Department - they're reliable, it's their life ) and they reckon PS3 is the way to go !!

Well the ps3 is alright, I'm semi tempted, but not gonna drop $1000 for one, no way, xbox 360 has more.

As for chrono trigger, well it's a super nintendo game (please don't let that put you off), but you CAN play it on your PC, like all super nintendo games.

First you need an emulator, http://www.snes9x.com/ <- get it from there.

Second you need the ROM (the game itself). Umm, look under 'c' in vimm.net in the vault.

tell me if you can't get it to work, trust me, chrono trigger is RPG perfection, better than you can imagine.

Hey, let me know about Chrono Tiger !! and on tuesdays you'll be there at the bar with me. Don't worry, I'll make sure you get a hot chocolate with pink marshmallows.

Before my Philosophy exam last year, 1st semester, I had pre-exam beer to loosen me up. I was failing that subject pretty bad so I had do something drastic to pass. It worked !! The miracle drink saved me - and ever since I have loved Carlton Draught.

Sweet - sounds good !! I'll check it out. I love my old SNES !! I think it got tossed out but man that was a great system. Old Bubsy as well. These are classics that can't be beat !! what happened to them ? i'd love to them remastered on a new age console.

Thanks for the info, bro !
