After a severe back lash and In a bid to offset lost software loyalties in software Dell is planning on including crapware in its soon to be released line of Linux home computers.

Dell recently posted job ads looking for open source programmers familiar with the Linux environment, particularly people with 'extensive experience in Ubuntu, SUSE and Red Hat' to create 'software for our partners which includes AOL'.

Apparently the lack of open source crapware is the hindering factor for Dell, in a press release they stated that by bringing in open source programmers to create such software Dell would be able to effectively compete with competitors and keep costs down, furthermore it added that in keeping with open source spirits there would be no pay to the programmers involved and all software created would be licensed under a modified GPL3 license.

Anyone outraged at this? Seems like Dell really has gone nutters.
