Somehow I think I could have indirectly saved someones life with it, especially up in the US.
Comcast 911 Fails - 4yr Old Suffers - Comcast Support Hangs Up On Father
Diggs active user group runs in the hundreds of thousands so when something does get tot he frontpage it usually means about 25000 people will know about it, at least thats what happened when my other blogs recieved 1000 diggs. In this case I suppose we could say this guy got five times that amount.
Not only will this bring into light the dangers of E911 to people living in the US it gave a man the ability to properly vent his frustrations in such a manner that perhaps a high level CEO may very well know about it. Lets face it, the anger of 125000 people is something that can go a long way.
I never thought using Digg as a tool to push an agenda forward should be acceptable. But I suppose in some cases, such as this one, it helps make people aware of important things that they may otherwise never know about.
