“i will slit your throat” it says on his MySpace page, but what he really did was stab it continuously.


His MySpace page is open to the public, and so is his blog, heres one of his blog posts:

He is 17 years old, he was living with his girlfriend at her mothers house. One day his girlfriends mother got angry with him and said she wished her daughter had never been born since she had brought him in to live with them. She exclaimed he was causing problems in the house to which he responded by chocking her until she was unconscious and stabbed her in the mouth and neck until she stopped breathing.


Then with the aid of a friend he dumped her in the boot of a car where the body remained for several months. After which they attempted to get rid of the body, twice, the second time the police were tipped off by an anonymous source.

After some mild investigation I found his girlfriends MySpace too.

This is amazing. Voyeurism has never seen such limitless boundaries. But these particular boundaries of the public arena are being pushed downward rather than outward.
It won't be long before myspace will have a regulatory committee set up. How can it not when this information is all potenial evidence for character references at least, declarations of motive and pre-meditation at worst.

Heh thats true Justin, it gets better, there was a killer on the loose who would frequently update his myspace blog, it was pretty crazy.

I wouldn't be too surprsied if this guys myspace page is brought in to defend him/prosecute him in court.

Yes, legal implications of this shit are endless. But what really freaks me out is that some kids, somewhere, somehow think this is normal. I want to be old, in fact I am old, but what I mean is old like not having to see my little girl grow up in a world where killers can have a blog... and we just sit around reading it.

This is the technology era, you know if poeple could kill people on second life we'd end up having virtual homicide laws set up...

I don't see the point and the way in which they could be regulated.

They already are for vulgar content and malware, don't see anything else they can be regulated for, if it was as convenient as 'regulated for outlaws and potential outlaws' the policeman's work would be a heck of a lot easier.

MySpace is out of control and there should be some sort of monitoring and regulation. I mean, of course it's not as easy as popping up a registration questionairre, "Are you a murderer? Are you a ho?" and weeding out the bad apples that way, but at least to view the pages and take appropriate action for inappropriate content.

That already happens Wendi, there are a bunch of moderators who work on myspace to moderate such things, explicit and vulgar content to be exact, there is also a link a member can click on to alert the moderators to the aforementioned content.

Right at the bottom of every page theres a 'report abuse' link, thats what you want to click on to send an email to the administrators.

Also every picture has a 'report this image' link underneath it.

That's the Interweb for you- reams and reams of data, but the information is often innacurate.

I think I can guess what tipped off the cops- ever smell a large animal that's been dead one week (Never mind months!!).
