Nintendo Taunting the Contest

January 23rd 2007 11:25
This was a pretty funny segment on Nintendo Power about Sega and Sony trying to get the heads up on Nintendo’s Triple-A title ‘Star Fox’. While Nintendo might not have dominated that console generation, or the subsequent one with the terrible GameCube, Nintendo really did a good job with first class titles, the greatest game of all time (as voted by the people) came out on the Nintendo 64, ‘Zelda: Ocarina of Time’.

Nintendo learned a lot from this show, it learned that secret’s should be kept secret, after the rumble pack was revealed it was promptly copied by Sony. Well at least Nintendo left the wii-remote secret until the very last minute, so Sony could not do a full blown copy, instead it just put in a half arsed tilt function in the Playstation 3 controller, not enough time for all the finer points of the Wii Remote.

Anyway, enjoy the video...
