Online TV

When Google sees the potential, and is willing to put money where its mouth is you know it has a future.
Online TV, or to put more accurately, video’s made specifically for online viewing are short (usually no longer than five minutes), to the point and are often more entertaining than regular TV shows.
But hey what the hey, there are TV channels that broadcast online as well as on-air. There are some websites, but programs such as ‘TV 2.0’ to bring all those together into one convenient package.
Asides from that Microsoft has launched its own MSNTV which essentially brings subscribed TV into your home via the internet. Kind of redundant as there are other PAYTV options that don’t require you to have a super fast internet connection to run smoothly and efficiently.
The latter two versions of online TV I have described are fairly mundane, boring and obvious, however the first, online portal TV hosting sites, is a fresh new concept. Often times they simply contain snippets of TV shows or music video’s, but sometimes there are things people made which you can really only get online.
There are some video’s online that are just hilarious, one such video (more like series) is ‘Chad Vader’ a spoof of ‘Darth Vader’. Many famous Darth Vader quotes are spoken within the context of a super market making for some hilarious moments.
