Sony has lost its Metal Gear Solid exclusive!

December 17th 2006 03:39
Snake is reflecting these new developments
What’s happening over at Sony HQ? Next to Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid is the biggest title for the Playstation 3! Imagine if Microsoft lost ‘Gears of War’ to Sony, this is how bad it is!

‘Metal Gear Solid 4’ was an extremely high profile exclusive game for the Playstation 3, it was expected to be one of the first ‘killer apps’ of the Playstation 3.

It is difficult to compare, a loss of this magnitude, it is ridiculous, what if ‘Marvel Comics’ gave up their rights to ‘Spiderman’ and shared it with ‘DC Comics’? They’d lose a multi-billion dollar franchise. This is what has just happened to Sony.

Looks like our decision has become that much more easier, away from the ‘Playstation 3’.

*sigh* More rumours...

Apparently not, now theres news countering this, apparently it isn't going to happen.

at the same time one wonders how they're going to scrape in a profit with the amount of ps3's tha will be on the market...
