Point by point, geeks are never conservatives because...
They have day jobs
They never shy away from seeing the fuller picture, they want to see the full picture
They don't tend to come from rich families
They never come from a red state
They have day jobs
They also aren't gullible
They aren't idiots
They aren't idiots
Can't emphasize this enough: THEY ARENT IDIOTS
They have better things to do than be idiots
Because 'they' has been over used

On the list you use to prove this...man, it's really counterproductive. You must realize that it reads like this: because they're lazy, are born in arbitrary locations and are possessed with a meglomanically inflated sense of their own intelligence. That last point requires so much self-selected reassurance you have to say it three or four times apparently. You've gotta realize how that makes you look like the exact opposite. Has anyone ever been convinced of the intelligence of someone because they themselves told you they were smart? I'm not sure that's ever happened in recorded his history.
