Why Islam is a Backwards Religion

Yes it is, so backwards, it doesn’t allow people to think freely, it forces narrow-mindedness and intolerance and it definitely doesn’t produce people like me who go to university and write on blogs.
Lets face it, it’s all a tremendously huge conspiracy theory by evil Muslims, never in history have Muslims and non-Muslims, lived together in peace under Islamic rule, never in history has the structure of an Islamic government changed (for better or for worse) oh and most certainly never in history has a Muslim not wanted anything more than peace. They are all just evil hell bent on suicide bombings.
Islam is so strict on what one can learn, must learn and shouldn’t learn, for instance Muslims should not learn about the origins of the universe because it definitely was not even mentioned in the Quran. Muslims should not learn about such things as mathematics either, especially when what they learn could be so advanced that it wouldn’t be re-discovered until 520 years later in the 1970’s.
Of course Islam doesn’t simply restrict Muslims from learning about the world, it also restricts them from learning about the world from non-Muslims. Islam only preaches violence against non-Muslims and calls for Jihad against them, it definitely does not get you to align with them to fight a common cause.
An example of Islams inability to integrate with different societies and cultures can be perfectly seen in the example of Mosques from different countries. All Mosques have to have a dome on top and be made of expensive granite. After all, building a Mosque is the first step towards the Islamic dominance of any society.
It’s all a conspiracy, whatever they tell you it isn’t the truth, Islam is a backwards religion, everyone who disagrees has bought into liberal and Muslim lies, they have re-written history, Muslims can never get along with anyone since they always demand everyone change for them.

Most people, even the non-Muslims, want to distance them selves from the ratbags who only see bad in anything that is different.
Ratbags have a list of enemies to attack. Mostly they fail but sometimes due to circumstances they get a chance to misinform, stir and lie.
I suspect that 'Clash of Civilization' ratbags are already singing their swan song.

Those same people attacking Muslims will start attacking another group, they'll always find a group of people that aren't exactly 100% like them and attack them.
It is getting so extreme though that even conservatives are beginning to disown these _people_ so it just goes to show just how over the top they are...

It's amazing the way some people think, Keith Ellison was told that he had to prove himself to not be working with the enemy, an elected member of congress suddenly has to prove himself to other politicians? It's this kind of thinking that is a danger, I was quite frankly shocked there were people who thought like that.
Not anymore though, people can say the scape goat of the day (in this case Muslims) are worse than Hitler and I don't feel shocked at all, just 'oh thats so typical'.

When it comes to Islam. It's all POLITICAL. The mid-east governments impose Islam on the people because they don't want people to think for themselves. They want a controlled society with so many restrictions that all they do is work and fight.
Islam is a violent religion. As long as people in those countries are forced to think like robotic cavemen, there will be no peace. They're suicidal. Their religion makes them very unhappy. Not only are they suicidal, they're angry. Mixed together they decide to commit suicide while taking down other people whom they blame for their misery when in reality it's the stupidity of their backwards religion and harshness of their restrictive society and culture that is the blame.
Really, why not have simple rules in law like murder, violence, and stealing (And all the sub-crimes related to them) being the only things they jail people for? Here in North America we know what's right and wrong and with radio, tv and internet, there's no reason why they shouldn't know what's right or wrong either.
Muslims, do yourselves a favor; burn your books and save yourselves from the enslavement of Islam.

In countries where good genes clash with Islam the 2 psychological forces cause confusion and madness. Hence half the people in pakistan are extremists. This is because they were indian in the past. Indians and arabs are opposites in everything.

The truth is that today Islam is a harmful and barbaric and backwards religion. Hundreds of millions live in repressive, so-called "Islamic Republics" where a woman cannot leave her house without her husband's permission, where minority groups (such as Christians, Buddhists, atheists, whomever) cannot live free of intimidation, fear, discrimination, and taxes that go unpaid by the Muslim majority, and where violence and oppression are fomented every single day.
None of your sarcasm will change any of these brutal facts.

Their culture is somewhat efficient in that their marriages are arranged and they do not have to go to bars and clubs for many years to find someone, saving thousands of dollars and time.
They also make their children study a lot and get good grades and make tax payer scholarships pay for their children's education.
They also do jobs that other people can't, like most security jobs, taxi drivers, etc.
They don't spend $20 000 per Christmas like Christians.
The problem for us Jews is that they are growing in presence, stength, intelligence, and wealth and soon even the Rothschild family cannot compete with them.
However, I am happy to be a Jew although majority of people don't like me. LONG LIVE ISRAEL and fuck USA

1. EDUCATION
The religion of Islam has encouraged education and learning to a great extent that is so unimaginable. In numerous qur'anic verses as well as the Prophet's teachings and traditions, one can find the present and future rewards of being an educated person. Nowadays, there are around one million words in some languages.
Why Allah (god) had chosen " READ" as the first word to reveal of the Qur'an? There must be something special about it. The Qur'an uses repetition in order to imbed certain key concepts in the consciousness of its listeners. Allah (God) and Rab (the Sustainer) are repeated 2,800 and 950 times respectively in the sacred text; Ilm (knowledge) comes third with 750 mentions. Let us quote other verses that talk about the importance of education.
A. Qur'anic Verses
* "Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?" Quran, A-Zumr, (39:9)
* "Allah grants wisdom to whom He pleases and to whom wisdom is granted indeed he receives an overflowing benefit."Quran, Al-Baqarah, (2:269)
B. Prophetic Narrations
* " A single scholar of religion is more formidable against Satan than a thousand devout persons."
* "He who acquires knowledge acquires a vast portion."
* "If anyone going on his way in search of knowledge, God will, thereby make easy for him the way to Paradise."
n here are FEW MUSLIM SCHOLARS :
- Avicenna who was a FAMOUS PHYSICIAN (wrote many great books such as The Canon of Medicine, which was translated to Latin and Hebrew, and next became the text book for medical education in Europe) Avicenna was as well an astronomer, chemist, geologist, Hafiz, Islamic psychologist, Islamic scholar, Islamic theologian, logician, paleontologist, mathematician, Maktab teacher, physicist, poet, and scientist.
- Khalid ibn Yazid, studied Chemistry
- Al-Khawarizmi, a mathematician, original inventor of algebra. Al-Khawarizmi was as well an astronomer and geographer.
- Ibn Ishaq Al-Kindi, played an important role in introducing Arabic numerals to the Islamic and Christian world. Al-Kindi was also an Islamic philosopher, scientist, astrologer, astronomer, cosmologist, chemist, logician, mathematician, musician, physician, physicist, psychologist, and meteorologist.
There are MUSLIMS studying in UNIVERSITIES all around the world, even in HARVARD and OXFORD! Lets just think, WHO are the students in those universities in Muslim countries??? if Islam dont wanna produce so called "people like you who go to universities", why would there be universities in the 1st place in the Muslim countries???????????????

2. MUSLIM and NON-MUSLIM LIVING TOGETHER IN PEACE UNDER ISLAMIC RULE
Lets look at MALAYSIA for instance.
The Kings are MUSLIMS....... The Prime Minister is a MUSLIM.... Yet, Malaysia is a peaceful country with the Muslims living together with the Chinese and Hindus UNDER ISLAMIC RULES.....
3. SUICIDE BOMBING & TERRORISM
When Soviet Union attacked Afghanistan in 1979-89, the the Afghans fought for the rights of their country from communism. This was supported by the western leaders. (This event "inspired" few other MUSLIMS to as well fought for their countries... such as Palestine and south Philippine) After the attacked, there was a CIVIL WAR in Afghanistan... (do know that there was also American Civil War, in 1861–1865) Taliban arises and start ruling a large part of afghan. Next came Al-Qaeda. These are Muslim MINORITY (compared to the amount of Muslims in the world) n i admit they brought great MISCONCEPTIONS in Islam.... (Like women must wear burqa and women cannot drive cars.... THOSE ARE EXTREMES!) Don't judge Islam by their actions...!!
Suicide is forbidden. "O ye who believe!... [do not] kill yourselves, for truly Allah has been to you Most Merciful. If any do that in rancour and injustice, soon shall We cast him into the Fire..." (Qur'an 4:29-30).
4. ORIGIN OF THE WORLD

5. MUSLIMS DEMAND EVERYONE TO CHANGE FOR THEM ?? absolutely, NOT..!
"There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut (worship of Setan or other) and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing."

I am a MUSLIM.... A MUSLIM who reads the Quran.... Who doesnt speak English as 1st language... An A-level student....., applying to read MEDICINE in Cardiff University, Aberdeen University, Birmingham University, Bristol University (all in the UK) and the Irish Medical Schools...... Also, our civil war lasted 4 years and had nothing to do with religion, it had to do with ending slavery, a terrible immorality that we were ashamed of and corrected in our society. Afghanistan's civil war is nearing 30 years, and has to do with POLITICS. You say Islam does not require conversion, but the spread of Shariah is a real and present duty of all Muslims, and while Catholics accept that there are alternate routes to God (by that we mean that other religions will still bring people to heaven) yours attacks other religions and says they will never be accepted by Allah (Ali Imran Verse 85)
Read the Quran again, look back at where you came from, and dont EVER try and compare it to the civilized west again.
Other people please do not respond to my comment unless you have personally read the Quran. Or you can use ad hominem to attack those who disagree with Islam like a politically correct little coward.
