You can censor print, but you can’t censor the net

Ironic just a few years ago it wouldn’t have been possible to find out that the White House had censored one of Time magazines articles.
There has been lots of censorship of the USA’s critics in Iran, a scary lot, almost like some ones testing the public to see what the reaction to censorship is in this specific area.
However the White House does not have the luxury of controlling all mainstream media like various dictators of history, when they censor someone puts it online.

So it begins like this.
I have seen censorship operate in Sri Lanka and how it perpetuates corruption and human rights abuses. One paper got so fed up with being censored that they published the articles with the words censored at the appropriate places.
Tough times are still ahead for all.
